Overview:
Balboa Island Golf Carts is a small golf cart sales and rental shop located on Balboa Island in Newport Beach, offering high-quality golf carts to locals and those visiting the Island and the Coastal Newport area.
We’re looking for someone to help with front-end operations as well as assisting in running our social media and advertising accounts. We have a small team so our ideal candidate is someone who is a team player, knows Balboa Island, Corona del Mar, and the Peninsula, flexible, organized, knowledgeable in technology and social media, and excels in customer service!
Pay: $18-$20/hour.
Requirements:
- Position is primarily weekends, 10am - 4pm, with occasional overtime. Other days may also be available during our busy summer season.
- Must be over 18 years old with valid Driver’s license.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft computers, Google accounts, and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Technology Assistance: We’re aiming to have our business operate more seamlessly online, but we need help organizing this transition. We’d prefer that you have knowledge in using Microsoft computers, Google accounts, and feel comfortable organizing and consolidating our online accounts.
- Customer Service: We deliver golf carts locally and rent them in person – both require excellent customer service while booking customers and explaining how to operate our carts. Additionally, we have a lot of people who want to rent over the phone, so we ask that you follow up with them to complete bookings and gather the needed information.
- Social Media: We like to advertise online, through Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook. We ask that you are knowledgeable on all three platforms – Tik Tok especially. If you’d like to familiarize yourself with the type of content we try to make, our username is @balboaislandgolfcarts
