Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the company by overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Controller will work closely with executive leadership to drive financial efficiency and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning and cost control.
• Monitor cash flow, financial risks, and investment strategies to optimize financial stability.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Implement and manage accounting systems and software to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
• Provide financial leadership and support to key business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Manage and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Experience in the IT services or technology industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
