About the Role
BalanX Bio is a startup company building a bio-data–driven AI System powered by AI, mobile, and cloud technologies. We are looking for an HR Intern to support and help lead core people operations, with a strong focus on recruiting, internal communication, and team coordination.
This role plays a key part in shaping team growth, improving internal processes, and ensuring a high-functioning, collaborative work environment across all teams.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in reviewing applications and conduct first-round interviews
- Coordinate and monitor second-round interviews with team leads
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Align hiring efforts with team-specific skill and personality needs
Team Coordination & Leadership Support
- Support tasks across the HR team and ensure timely execution
- Collaborate with HR team to understand hiring priorities and team gaps
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support onboarding processes, including system access, Slack integration, and team placement
- Support offboarding processes, ensuring proper communication and removal of access
- Work toward improving tracking systems for access control and security
Internal Communication & Engagement
- Maintain clear and professional communication across teams
- Promote accountability around communication standards and expectations
Performance Management & Policy Enforcement
- Support implementation of performance management processes for interns
- Address internal conflicts and support resolution efforts
- Enforce company policies and escalate issues when necessary
Process Improvement & Operations
- Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and propose improvements
- Help build systems for tracking candidate pipelines, team members, and access permissions
- Support overall HR operations in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong interest in Human Resources, recruiting, or people operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stay organized
