Compensation & Benefits

(In compliance with Vermont pay transparency requirements)

• Base Salary Range: $130,000 – $145,000 annually (commensurate with experience and licensure)
• Performance Bonuses: Up to $40,000 annually

What You’ll Do

As a PMHNP/FNP/AGNP with Balanced Wellbeing, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients in long-term care settings, including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions through evidence-based medication management
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret laboratory tests as appropriate
• Participate in GDR and psychotropic medication review meetings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, facility staff, and families
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Meet daily productivity and encounter expectations
• Respond to facility needs as appropriate (no formal on-call)

What We’re Looking For

• Active Vermont APRN license as a PMHNP, FNP, or AGNP (psychiatric focus)
• National board certification (ANCC or equivalent)
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Psychiatric experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Four verifiable peer references
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Reliable transportation for limited travel between facilities

Schedule & Work Setting

• Monday–Friday, daytime hours
• No weekends or holidays
• Work in skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted living facilities
• Minimal regional travel within the Bennington area
