We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (1–3 years) with a strong background in family medicine to join our team. This full-time, on-site role involves delivering comprehensive primary care through thorough assessment, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and ongoing support.
Our ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, and comfortable practicing with appropriate autonomy in a dynamic outpatient setting. Prior experience in a concierge or DPC environment is a plus, but not required.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical exams and detailed health histories
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across a broad family medicine population
- Perform common office-based procedures (e.g., suturing, injections, dermatologic procedures, wound care)
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and execute individualized care plans, including medication management and lifestyle-based interventions
- Provide clear, empathetic patient education and counseling for prevention and chronic disease management
- Document all encounters accurately within the EHR system
- Manage telehealth visits and communicate with patients through secure messaging
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and care navigation when needed
- Collaborate with a small, supportive clinical team within the DPC model
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and workflow or process optimization
- Certified Physician Assistant with active Colorado licensure (or ability to obtain)
- 3 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or outpatient care required
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills across ages and conditions
- Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and comfort with digital communication platforms (email, Slack, etc.)
- Competency in common outpatient procedures (e.g., suturing, injections, skin procedures, phlebotomy)
- Strong understanding of preventive care, chronic disease management, and evidence-based guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely within a small team
- Interest in or willingness to learn the Direct Primary Care model
