The Role: Impact & Leadership
As the Crew Leader, you are the bridge between strategy and execution. You will work closely with supervisors to hit daily and weekly production goals while ensuring your team has the mastery, tools, and resources to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Command the Floor: Lead the daily operation and programming of Robot/CNC machines (Maestro experience preferred).
- Mentor & Mobilize: Act as a player-coach—working on the line while observing, coaching, and developing the next generation of CNC talent.
- Drive the System: Utilize Business Central (BC) to analyze requirements, ensure production completions are accurate, and maintain departmental inventory.
- Optimize Performance: Constantly seek ways to improve team efficiency while maintaining the "Balanced Body" standard of quality.
- Build the Team: Participate in the interview and evaluation process to recommend and develop high-quality candidates.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for a technical powerhouse with a "lead-by-example" philosophy.
- CNC Mastery: 5 years of experience operating and programming CNC/Robot machines (Maestro software is preferred).
- Proven Leadership: 3 years in a lead or supervisory role, specifically managing manufacturing teams.
- Strategic Problem Solver: The ability to make methodical decisions and solve problems collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Woodworking Knowledge: Strong understanding of safe woodworking techniques and tooling (saws, routers, grinders, and power drills).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a full shift (8 or 10 hours).
- Tech Savvy: Strong computer skills and comfort with production planning systems.
