The Role
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day accounting work that keeps our business moving forward. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work closely with teams across the company.

Responsibilities
- Support core accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with teams on budgeting, monthly expenses, and financial tracking
- Research and resolve discrepancies and questions related to transactions or account balances
- Follow established processes while also helping improve how we work

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
- Experience in the livestock industry preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and 10-key by touch
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
