Role Description
This full-time hybrid position for a Mental Health Therapist is based in Santa Maria, CA, with some opportunities to work from home. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy in an intensive outpatient group setting. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, and collaborating with team members to support client progress and well-being. The therapist will help clients navigate mental health challenges, reinforce positive behavioral change, and support clients’ integration into social and family systems.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Treatment Planning, including developing and implementing personalized therapy strategies.
- Skilled in Social Work and Case Management to coordinate care and provide support for clients navigating complex mental health and social service systems.
- Experience and expertise in Mental Health care, with strong practical knowledge of therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
- Knowledge in Family Therapy, including providing counseling to families to foster healthy communication and relationships.
- Licensed or actively pursuing licensure in relevant fields, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent (required).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to uphold compassionate and empathetic interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with working in an intensive outpatient or mental health group therapy setting is a plus.
