Pay Rate: $20.00/hrShift: A ShiftSchedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMBalance Staffing is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Job ResponsibilitiesReceive and count incoming stock items; record data manually or using a computer system.Pack and unpack items to be stored on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.Verify inventory counts by comparing physical quantities with system records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.Store materials in an organized and accessible manner in designated warehouse, tool room, or storage areas.Mark materials using tags, labels, stamps, or electronic marking equipment.Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Maintain records of stock usage, damages, and handling equipment.Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any issues to supervisors.Assist and coordinate with other warehouse or storage yard workers as needed.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.Knowledge of warehouse equipment, safety procedures, and operational policies.Education: High school diploma or GED required.Experience: 0–2 years of relevant warehouse or material handling experience.Equipment Skills (Required)Pallet Jack – ElectricStand-Up ForkliftIndustrial MaintenanceReceiving & Shipping OperationsBalance Staffing is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
