We are seeking a hands-on Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain our production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to plan preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and ensure equipment uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position plays a key role in keeping operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably.Location: Fremont, CAJob Type: Full-Time, On-SiteSchedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day Shift)Pay: $36 – $44 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic).Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation.Troubleshoot and repair tools, utilities, and support systems, minimizing downtime.Coordinate repairs, maintenance windows, and equipment outages with production teams.Work closely with equipment vendors, service providers, and parts suppliers to ensure timely repairs and component availability.Support installation, commissioning, and setup of new equipment and utilities.Maintain organized records of service activities, spare parts, calibration data, and maintenance histories.Promote and enforce a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.QualificationsTechnical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic systems.3–7 years of experience in equipment maintenance, facilities engineering, or production support within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in using mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.Strong communication skills for documentation, reporting, and vendor coordination.Hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with cross-functional operations teams.Company DescriptionBalance Staffing is a full-service staffing agency that aims to unite talented and hardworking people with excellent workplaces, while building lasting relationships with our employees and our clients.
