Balance Point Wellness, LLC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). We are a community-based holistic mental health and wellness center that provides counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, equine-facilitated therapy, and nutrition, and acupuncture and services to individuals and families in Maryland. We have offices in Baltimore, Nottingham, Bel Air, Salisbury, and Hunt Valley, MD. We also have a Telehealth division in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, and a school-based program in Baltimore County and Harford County schools.
Balance Point Wellness, LLC is seeking a part-time Maryland licensed nutritionist to provide nutrition counseling and diet education to clients of Balance Point Wellness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with clients for evaluation of nutrition related needs
- Provide nutritional services to client as assessed in initial evaluation
- Document all services provided in EHR
- Consult with therapists and other providers about treatment of clients
- Review documentation done by general nutritionists for content and thoroughness.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nutrition or related field
- Certified Nutrition Specialist by Board of Certified Nutrition Specialists (BCNS) OR Registered Dietitian (RD) by Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) by the State of Maryland
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
