Balance Mental Health is a growing, affirming private practice specializing in compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adults. We’re expanding our team and seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is skilled in psychiatric assessment, differential diagnosis, and medication management, and who thrives in a supportive, collaborative outpatient setting.
As a PMHNP at Balance Mental Health, you will:
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (60–90 minutes)
• Provide ongoing medication management and supportive therapy as appropriate (30 minutes)
• Develop treatment plans grounded in best-practice standards
• Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and community supports
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Provide care that is LGBTQ and neurodivergent-affirming, culturally responsive, and aligned with principles of harm reduction and patient autonomy
You may be a great fit if you:
• Are a licensed APRN and certified PMHNP in NH
• Have experience with psychiatric evaluations and medication management across common diagnostic areas
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, client-centered clinical style
