Description:The Foot Care Center is the region’s largest and fastest growing podiatric practice. We are proud to serve the Billings, Montana, and Sheridan, Wyoming communities with two offices in Billings, Montana, and one in Sheridan. Wyoming. Started in 1987, The Foot Care Center is the most innovative practice in the region. We are a busy office of 4 podiatrists, and have an immediate need for 2 additional podiatrists to support our current volume, with plans for continued growth and expansion.We are looking for an exceptional Associate Surgical Podiatrist in either Billings or Sheridan. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, comfortable performing surgery as well as doing routine care, with a phenomenal bedside manner who treats our patients with exceptional care.Essential Functions:Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseasesTreat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and anklesPerform surgical procedures as necessary along with wound care management as neededDiagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test resultsPrescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgeryAdvise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problemsProvide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care teamProvide health promotion and preventive medicineAppropriately maintains medical records on assigned patientsCurrent technology in the offices include:· Digital X-ray· Diagnostic ultrasound· Digital gait analysis· CAD orthotic scanning and design· CAM based in office orthotic lab· EPAT shock wave therapy· MLS class IV laser therapy· MicroVAS electronic therapy· SWIFT microwave for verruca· Amniotic treatments for ulcers and musculoskeletal problems· Web-based EMRStaff development and education is important to our practice. We have regular training meetings for general staff. Medical staff also meets regularly to discuss cases, concerns and refine systems.THE SHERIDAN WYOMING OFFICEOur 4,500 sq. ft. facility boasts four treatment rooms, an impressive waiting room, in-office surgical suite, conference room, and management office. Requirements:Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferredCurrent License as a Podiatrist in the State of Montana or WyomingDoctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of PodiatryBoard certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle SurgeryAbility to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progressKnowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical careKnowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformitiesAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse patient, colleague, and vendor populationsPC Proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook and EMR databaseAbility to provide legal proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation
Salary : $150,000 - $500,000
