Job Description
Title: F45 Coaches
Reports To: Studio Director
Position Summary
F45 head coaches and assistant coaches are responsible for all facets of running the F45 workouts. The coach and assistant coach must be a dynamic individual and leader who can continually advance our programs and teach classes as needed. The position is an independent contractor position with the opportunity to teach classes as desired and scheduled.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead or assist F45-branded classes according to the assigned schedule
- Create a positive, high energy environment for new or existing members
- Responsible for zone management duties which include keeping the studio clean and clear.
- Teach safe, effective exercises to a variety of populations
- Wear proper uniform
- Adhere to employee standards of conduct
- Complete all required staff training and attend all required staff meetings and continuing education summits
- Record all hours accurately
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and utilize gym management software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
- College degree preferred
- AFAA Group Exercise Primary Certification is strongly encouraged
- Active CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Coaching Certification through a nationally recognized organization (required to teach as Head Coach, not required to Assistant Coach)
