Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator to join our client's team for an on-site role based in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT systems, specifically their VMWare environment, ensuring their smooth operation, and optimizing performance. Key tasks include system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to users, and overseeing network administration tasks. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience in System Administration, including implementing, managing, and maintaining IT systems.
- Current VMWare experience, managing a multitude of servers and applications
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Experience providing professional-level Technical Support to resolve user challenges in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of Network Administration, including managing servers, networks, and ensuring system security and connectivity.
- Strong background in Information Technology fundamentals and infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and disaster recovery planning is highly desirable.
