Overview

The Taproom Manager is responsible for the overall operation and success of the taproom. This includes managing staff, ensuring a positive customer experience, maintaining inventory, and promoting the brewery's brand on Social Media.

Responsibilities

Staff Management:

• Hiring, training, and scheduling taproom staff
• Supervising and motivating staff to provide excellent customer service
• Managing staff performance and addressing any issues

Customer Experience:

• Ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers
• Addressing customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Building relationships with regular customers and fostering a sense of community

Inventory Management:

• Maintaining inventory of beer, merchandise, and supplies
• Placing orders and managing stock levels
• Ensuring product quality and freshness

Sales and Marketing:

• Promoting the brewery's brand and products on Social Media
• Organizing events and promotions to drive traffic and sales
• Implementing sales strategies to increase revenue

Financial Management:

• Managing the taproom's budget and financial performance
• Tracking sales and expenses
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations

Facility Management:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the taproom
• Overseeing taproom maintenance and repairs
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry
• Experience in the craft beer industry is a plus

Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of beer styles and brewing processes is a plus

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• College degree in business or hospitality management is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work nights and weekends

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary for the Taproom Manager position is $50,000-65,000/year, contingent on experience and qualifications, with potential for bonuses based on Retail performance.
