Join our bustling bakery team as an Overnight Delivery Driver and Pastry Packer, where your energy and dedication will help deliver fresh, delicious baked goods to eager wholesale customers while ensuring our pastries are perfectly packed and ready for the early morning rush. No CDL required, just a clean background check and driving record. Must have reliable transportation to/from the Commissary. Most stops are in San Antonio, with Boerne and Austin routes as well. Shift is 12 AM to 8 AM, pay starts at $20/hr with potential benefits.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cargo van or similar commercial vehicles with to deliver baked goods to various locations overnight.
- Load and unload pastries and bakery products using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Pack pastries meticulously to maintain freshness and presentation standards for delivery.
- Plan efficient delivery routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure timely arrivals.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any special requests or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records throughout each shift.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the bakery, and preparing orders for dispatch.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving cargo vans or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Detail oriented and focused on doing the job CORRECTLY
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially with route driving in early morning hours.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and move bakery products safely using pallet jacks; physical stamina is essential.
- Serve Safe Food Handlers certification (can take prior to starting)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
