Position Summary:
The Picker/Wrapper/Pusher plays a key role in ensuring all customer orders are accurately prepared and ready for daily delivery. This position operates in a fast-paced production environment handling fresh donuts and bakery products, requiring strong attention to detail, efficiency, and physical stamina to maintain continuous workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders based on daily order sheets
- Properly wrap and package bakery items to maintain freshness and quality standards
- Organize and stage completed orders for delivery
- Transport (push) finished orders to the designated delivery area in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Follow all company safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal downtime
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and work on feet for 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and push products and racks as needed
- Capable of working in a continuous, non-stop production environment
- Stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced bakery production setting
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on production area
- Must be available to work weekend, and holiday shifts they are required
