Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our small, family-run bakery. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep for breads, pastries, sandwiches, and other menu items.
- Assist with baking, assembling, packaging, and stocking products.
- Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and keep workstations clean and organized throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation according to food safety standards.
- Receive, organize, and put away deliveries and inventory.
- Lift and carry ingredients, trays, boxes, and supplies throughout the day.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Help restock displays and monitor inventory levels.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when needed, including greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting at the counter.
- Support the team with any additional tasks needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Applicants should be comfortable with:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day.
- Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
