The Production Worker supports daily operations in our cookie manufacturing facility. This role is hands-on and involves multiple stages of production, including baking, packaging, sugar preparation, and icing production. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment while following food safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesBaking & Production
Assist in preparing dough and operating baking equipment according to production schedules
Monitor ovens and baking processes to ensure product quality and consistency
Measure and handle ingredients accurately following established recipes and procedures
Icing & Sugar Production
Prepare icing, glazes, and sugar mixtures according to specifications
Operate mixers and related equipment for icing and sugar production
Maintain proper temperatures, textures, and consistency of icing and sugar products
Packaging
Package finished cookies according to company standards
Label, seal, and inspect packaged products for quality and accuracy
Ensure packaging materials are stocked and used correctly
Quality & Safety
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines (GMPs)
Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and work areas
Identify and report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns
General Duties
Work collaboratively with team members across production areas
Meet daily production goals and deadlines
Assist with other production tasks as needed
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus, but not required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warm production environment
Salary : $12 - $14
