Sales Assistant (Part-Time / Full-Time)

In the role of Sales Assistant, you will be a front-line face of our magazine in the Bakersfield area. Your primary focus will be visiting local businesses, building relationships, and funneling high-quality leads to our Sales Representatives so they can close the deal.
Your role is to seek out home improvement businesses and other potential clients by visiting 10 accounts per day in person. You will learn the ins and outs of their business, introduce them to our publication and digital marketing platform, and gather the necessary information to pass along to our closing team. You will work hand-in-hand with our Sales Executives to help develop marketing campaigns that generate a consistent flow of high-quality leads for our clients.

Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant, you will act as the face of our magazine in Bakersfield by driving out to visit and prospect 10 accounts per day in person, requiring you to have reliable transportation. You will identify and engage new business opportunities, gathering key information to funnel qualified leads to our Sales Representatives. Utilizing your tech-savvy skills, you will navigate our CRM to find new potential clients and organize data to help streamline our sales processes.
Furthermore, you will gain extensive knowledge of our capabilities, products, advantages, and the booming home improvement and home services industry. You will stay informed on a multitude of marketing solutions, including direct mail, television, radio, and social media, specifically tailored for the home improvement market. We expect you to be a great teammate, handle miscellaneous administrative duties, and help carry out the goals and targets of the business.
