Our corporate office located in San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time entry level engineer in our Blast Effects section.
This position will have a focus on supporting explosion consequence studies and testing of explosions and related phenomena. The successful applicant will also assist more senior staff in explosion-related assessments. Position will involve preparing technical proposals, reports and presentations.
Requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree or related discipline (MS or PhD preferred). Must have the ability to support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working with a variety of personnel under a range of conditions (i.e., test range, office, industrial, and accidental explosion sites). Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Field or lab-scale testing experience is preferred.
This position will require travel, primarily to client sites within the US and BakerRisk test sites near San Antonio. Travel up to 50% of working days should be expected.
