POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Veterans Programs is responsible for overseeing the compliance, fiscal integrity, and operational effectiveness of BakerRipley's Veterans Program. This role ensures adherence to contract requirements, budgetary guidelines, and programmatic best practices to drive efficiency and accountability. The Director works closely with internal teams to develop and implement policies, maintain accurate reporting, and improve service delivery. This position partners with the Director to ensure the Veterans Program continues to expand while maintaining operational excellence.

Remains knowledgeable of all program contract and funding source requirements; evaluates and ensures compliance with funder standards and contracts.
Ensures timely and accurate reporting to funders and BakerRipley management.
Maintains program fiscal integrity by developing and overseeing operational budgets.
Ensures program staff understand and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
Oversees continual program evaluation and implements process improvements for increased efficiency and impact.
Works cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate data collection for reporting and strategic decisionmaking.
Develops and monitors performance metrics to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Leads program staff in achieving programmatic goals and objectives.
Provides clear performance expectations and conducts annual performance reviews.
Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages independent decision-making and accountability.
Encourages staff to develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Develops strong working relationships with contract managers and attends funder meetings as required.
Represents BakerRipley to funders, other agencies, and community organizations as requested.
