BakerHostetler is seeking to add a mid-level litigation associate to its premier Digital Assets and Data Management Practice Group in Philadelphia or Wilmington, DE.
The successful candidate will join our national team in advising and representing clients of all sizes and sectors in investigation and litigation matters involving cybersecurity, digital privacy, Internet speech (defamation, stalking, threats, First Amendment), cybercrime, white collar crime, intellectual property theft, commercial, and employment issues.
The litigation docket includes both civil and criminal cases, with a heavy focus on cybersecurity and digital privacy class actions, commercial and employment disputes, and regulatory enforcement actions. The investigations docket includes internal, regulatory, grand jury and congressional investigations focused on a wide range of issues.

Qualifications Include
- 3-7 years of civil, class action, criminal or regulatory litigation experience
- A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
- Outstanding writing and oral communication skills; law journal, judicial clerkship or other comparable experience
- Must be admitted in Pennsylvania or Delaware (or able to waive into practice in Pennsylvania)
- A strong interest in the intersection of law and technology
- Significant pre-trial experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, and ADR.
- A desire to develop substantive expertise in cybersecurity, privacy, social media, Internet speech, cybercrime and white collar issues
- Extreme attention to detail
- Exceptional project management skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
- The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and to interact with clients on a daily basis
