We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and collaborative Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role will support our clients with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer occupational therapy screenings and evaluations including sensory profile
- Create and perform activity analysis to break down activities into achievable components for both the client and their family/ caregivers
- Develop & implement occupational therapy treatment, plans of care including goals and objectives, and home programs for occupational therapy strategies and recommendations
- Prepare detailed reports based on observation and assessments of client's progress
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey
- Certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
- Familiarity with assessment tools
- Experience with working with all ages ranging from child-adult
- Looking for experience with special needs
- Experience working collaboratively with related professionals and providers
- Adherence to a high level of professional and ethical standards
- Have strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to independently implement programming
- Self-motivated with willingness to exceed client expectations
- Clinical support and oversight for each case
