What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Coordinator position at Baker Marine Solutions?
Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for coordination and implementation of the Companies ISO 9001 Quality Management System in support of Marine Assurance and Marine Warranty services. These efforts would include survey report management and distribution; managing the creation/revision of documents and document templates in accordance with established management of change procedures, implement and facilitate all document control procedures for templates and completed reports, forms and manuals, quotes and proposals, and other documents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordination of project folder creation and provision of correct templates and documents for each project.
- Coordinate the quality control process for all documents, including creation, filing, updating, and delivering to clients.
- Support internal and external project document control functions including receipt notifications, tracking and delivery notifications.
- Track and report on QMS performance metrics and KPI’s.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for real time tracking of QMS performance metrics and notifications for corrective actions.
- Maintain QMS records and develop reports for the annual audits of QMS
- Supporting travel logistics and personnel tracking, as required.
- Cross train in essential business functions of the QHSE Administrator

Education / Experience
- Previous document control, administrative assistant, or office management experience.
Reporting and Accountability:
- This position reports to the V.P. QHSE
- Position is accountable to the Marine Assurance Department for product deliverables.
Schedule Expectations:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with one hour for lunch, or as otherwise agreed with your manager.
- This is a full-time position with an in-office requirement of 40hrs per week.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
