Job Title: Castings Shipping
Compensation:
Hours: Full Time; Monday – Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm; Overtime Required
Shipping & Receiving Job Summary:
The Casting Shipping Technician is responsible for accurately receiving cast parts into stock, packaging them according to customer specifications, verifying product quality, and completing all required documentation in accordance with company procedures and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, have prior experience with Epicor, and demonstrate proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
Shipping & Receiving Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP software (Epicor experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Shipping & Receiving Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to operate packaging tools and scales
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting
- Exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment
- Requires wearing appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and gloves
