Compensation: Based on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:30-6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Full-Time, Permanent, Some OT Required)

Submersible Pump Assembler Lead Job Summary: 

AY Submersible Pump Assembler Lead – This leadership position is responsible for both hands-on assembly and oversight of the submersible pump assembly team at Baker Manufacturing’s new AY Pump Warehouse. The Lead ensures daily production runs efficiently and meets quality and safety expectations. This role includes guiding team members, troubleshooting assembly processes, and maintaining accurate records while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. An ideal candidate for this position would have 1 year manufacturing lead experience 

Submersible Pump Assembler Lead Qualifications 

• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly; prior pump or motor assembly experience strongly preferred. 
• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting is a plus. 
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
• Competence in basic data entry or inventory tracking systems. 
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and lead a small team effectively. 
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. 
• Ok with working in moderate to loud noise levels are typical in the environment 
• Prior experience providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members is a plus 
• Ability to trouble shoot machines is a plus 
• Prior experience assembling pump components including motors, shafts, impellers, seals, and related parts using hand and power tools for AY machine experience 
• Can interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate builds. 
• Work great both alone and in teams
