Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Receptionist to join our firm. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our legal practice. Duties
- Greet clients, visitors, and callers with professionalism and courtesy, managing all front desk activities efficiently.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain the firm's calendar with precision.
- Support legal case management by organizing documents using document management systems such as MyCase.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, filings, and data entry tasks to ensure proper documentation flow.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while providing executive administrative support to attorneys.
Qualifications
- Proven clerical experience within a law office or legal environment with familiarity in legal administrative tasks is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proper phone etiquette.
- Experience with legal case management software like PCLaw or similar platforms.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and manage filing systems efficiently.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in proofreading.
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
