What are the responsibilities and job description for the Value Stream Leader position at Baker Hughes?
As a Value Stream Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Coaching, engage and direct staff to deliver operational results that meet and exceed organizational expectations for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Owning plant product line P&L, budgets, forecasts and development and implementation of strategy.
- Reviewing monthly and annual financial statements for budgetary comparisons, assess performance levels using gap analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Channel Partners to align manufacturing capacity with strategic revenue growth.
- Oversee product launch and NPI in accordance with the organization’s launch initiatives.
- Champion learning and implementation of the Lean for assigned locations.
- Drive the identification, selection, and prioritization of projects and maintain a productivity (lean) project pipeline on an on-going basis.
- Establishing managerial leadership, credibility and trust through clear communication and actions with all levels of the organization (Positive Employee Relations).
- Collaborating with functional leaders for effective deployment of functional strategies, initiatives, and programs.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have BS with 5 yrs. of manufacturing experience in a customer facing role and leadership
- Able to lead and motivate a team.
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of lean principles and processes.
- Be able to read and understand common financial reports.
- Have program management, leadership, and influence skills with the ability to plan, track, and report progress
- Able to influence across functional teams and at senior leadership/executive levels; and ability to maintain good judgement.
- Have a mechanical background and/or technical aptitude to work in a highly engineered production environment.
