As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Placing and follow-up on Purchase Orders (PO).
- Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
- Managing problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
- Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Contributing to projects as a team member or leading small projects.
- Working goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing).
- Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Buying-Procurement in the Chemical Industry.
- Have experience with supplier negotiations with a successful outcome.
- Have strong work ethics and ability to work under pressure
- Have strong interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills
- This role is hybrid, with the expectation of 3 days at the office.
