As an IT Sourcing Category Manager – Software & Cloud, you will be responsible for managing sourcing activities and supplier relationships across the software and cloud category to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual sourcing strategies and pipeline plans for the software and cloud category.
- Support the achievement of cost savings and value optimization targets.
- Lead RF(x) processes and support commercial negotiations with software and cloud service providers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Cyber Security, and IT.
- Assist in mitigating supplier and contractual risks through effective sourcing and supplier management practices.
- Communicate project status, sourcing processes, and compliance requirements to stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted business partner to IT and cross-functional teams to support business outcomes and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Manage relationships with key software and cloud suppliers to support business needs and internal customer satisfaction.
- Support multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Maintain awareness of global cybersecurity and data privacy considerations related to software and cloud services procurement.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have 3–5 years of experience supporting or leading technology sourcing activities, particularly for Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud) and related services.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze internal and external data to support category and sourcing strategies.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to support contract discussions aligned with business needs.
- Have experience reviewing and redlining software and cloud contracts in partnership with Legal.
- Exhibit strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
