The Mechanical Engineer - Industrial will specialize in industrial project design and documentation for design build construction project types as well as maintain and grow the “Client for Life” concept for existing and new clients.

- Design and layout clear, complete, and accurate industrial construction documents
- Apply sound knowledge of engineering principals and industrial application
- Interact daily with design build team and clients toward project success
- Support and participate planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for major construction projects
- Assist and execute to achieve Baker Group quality and financial expectations
- Represent Baker Group Core Values
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or higher education
- Industrial project experience required
- Five (5) years of engineering experience (field engineering preferred)
- Design/Build project experience preferred
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- AutoCAD and/ or Revit experience a plus
- Professional Engineer license
- Excellent team-working, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong innovative/creative approach for new ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work to meet project deadlines
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of time
