About the Role
The Project Superintendent directly oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co-workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. This individual is responsible for all areas on medium or large projects including prime contracts, ensuring safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plans Work: Coordinate resources and personnel to meet project objectives.
- Coordinates and Executes Work: Interface with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Oversees and Directs Staff: Ensure subordinate superintendents and co-workers are working efficiently and effectively.
- Promotes Client and Industry Relations: Build and maintain high-level client relationships through professional conduct.
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment: Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the organization.
- Participates in Training/Certifications: Continuously develop skills and knowledge to stay current with industry standards.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Line & Grade experience.
- Foreman experience.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of formwork systems.
- May require appropriate Craft Certifications.
