Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair experience. You will utilize your automotive expertise to assess customer needs, recommend services, and ensure a seamless service process. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers will be key to your success in this position.
Starting pay will depend on experience with an opportunity for advancement. Willing to train if willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including oil changes, tire service, shocks and struts replacement, diesel engine repair, and alignment.
- Create accurate service estimates and manage service writing processes.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process to provide updates on their vehicle status.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize auto estimating tools to provide precise quotes for repairs and maintenance.
- Foster strong customer relationships through excellent customer service and follow-up communications.
- Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Answer phone to schedule appointments.
Experience
- Previous experience in an automotive service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auto service management practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with service writing software and auto estimating tools is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to engage customers effectively.
- Sales experience in an automotive context is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical customers.
- A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning.
