Operator, Packer

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machines to ensure proper function and output.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
• Pack items into containers, boxes, or pallets according to company specifications.
• Label packages accurately with product information, batch numbers, and shipping details.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
• Perform routine machine checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Record production data such as quantities packed and machine performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
