Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
- Sort and organize packages according to their delivery route
- Ensure that all packages are properly labeled and accounted for
- Communicate effectively with the driver to ensure timely and safe delivery
- Help to navigate the delivery route and provide assistance with directions
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies to the driver
- Perform other duties as assigned by the driver or supervisor
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
