The 2nd Shift Forklift Driver (Indirect) plays a critical support role in warehouse and production operations by safely transporting materials, supplies, and finished goods. This position ensures timely movement of inventory and supports indirect functions such as sanitation, staging, and replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products, pallets, and supplies
- Support indirect warehouse functions including staging, replenishment, and internal transfers
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and sanitation tasks as needed
- Complete required documentation for inventory movement and equipment usage
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support operational flow
- Perform other duties assigned to support indirect warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification required
- 1–2 years of forklift or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and inventory procedures
- Availability to work 2nd shift and occasional overtime
