Summary: The Regulatory Scientist will perform a variety of duties related to ingredient and finished product specifications, labelling, specification management systems, and other customer information and/or regulatory-related assignments as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage in and support all product documentation creation, management, and updates.
- Create and Maintain Internal Finished Product Specifications.
- Create and Maintain product labels.
- Create and Maintain Internal Ingredient Specifications.
- Support allergen and other Federal/State policy compliance.
- Support acidified foods initatives.
- Track and monitor progress against established goals and deadlines.
- Additional responsibilities may be required or omitted depending on work circumstances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required: Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent.
- Knowledge in R&D/Quality systems in a Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical company.
- A minimum of 2 years-experience in R&D, Regulatory and/or Quality or commensurate experience.
- Must be organized and detail oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a customer service mind-set required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
