Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facilities Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate seamlessly, providing a safe and productive environment for all staff and visitors. The Facilities Manager will coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Duties
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance activities
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and low/high voltage equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures
- Utilize proprietary work management systems to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections, maintaining safety records, and training staff on safety procedures
- Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs while managing budgets, timelines, and contractor relationships
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or commercial environment
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems troubleshooting (including high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance practices
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of best practices for facilities management
- Hands-on experience with maintenance repair procedures involving electrical experience, HVAC systems repair, plumbing repairs, and electrical systems diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters and voltmeters
