As we continue building the brand, we’re seeking General Managers who thrive on ownership, accountability, and performance. This role is revenue-driven and guest-driven: maximizing unit results through sales-building initiatives, strong operations, and a high-performing team.
What Success Looks Like
General Managers are the heartbeat of Bakehouse 46. You will own the results of your location—guest experience, revenue, labor management, product execution, and profitability. You’ll work in partnership with enterprise leadership to deploy new products, initiatives, merchandising standards, and local sales efforts that drive growth and elevate the Bakehouse 46 brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Grow revenue through community engagement, in-store merchandising, sampling, catering, and sales-building initiatives
- Lead day-to-day operations with precision and hospitality
- Ensure product execution & brand standards for bakery, café, and beverage offerings
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach a high-performing team that delivers consistent results
- Manage labor, payroll reporting, and scheduling to align with traffic, seasonality, and demand
- Execute inventory, ordering, waste, and shrink controls to protect margins
- Manage unit financial performance, including cash handling, deposits, and controllables
- Build a positive culture grounded in communication, accountability, and guest-first service
What You Bring
- 2 years General Manager experience (food service strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to drive top-line sales, not just manage operations
- Strong talent leadership and communication skills
- Operational discipline with hospitality instincts and attention to detail
- Hands-on leadership style with flexibility during high-volume periods
- Comfort working with systems, checklists, and standard operating procedures
