Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator plays an active role in daily transportation and logistics operations within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This position is responsible for coordinating domestic and/or international shipments, tracking freight movement, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with carriers, warehouses, drayage providers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on logistics experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

As we grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Carrier Claims & Invoice Audit Specialist to support our shipping claims and billing accuracy processes.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments from origin to final destination within a 3PL environment
- Support freight rate negotiations and service level discussions with carriers as needed
- Prepare freight quotes by gathering shipment details and requesting and comparing rates from carriers and vendors
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate pricing, quote, and shipment information in internal systems
- Support carrier selection decisions based on service level requirements, cost considerations, and customer expectations
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, drayage providers, and warehouses to meet transit and delivery targets
- Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and invoices
- Track shipments daily and proactively escalate delays, damages, or discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholders
- Monitor drayage movements and communicate risks or issues impacting port or warehouse timelines
- Provide timely shipment updates and delivery status to internal teams and customers
- Coordinate closely with drayage teams and receiving warehouses to support on-time and accurate deliveries
- Maintain shipment schedules and tracking details in Airtable and/or a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Review freight invoices for accuracy and assist in resolving billing discrepancies with carriers and vendors
- Ensure shipments comply with company procedures and basic transportation and documentation requirements
- Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Apply working knowledge of carrier pricing structures, accessorial charges, and basic freight cost analysis
- Cross-train on routing processes and procedures across multiple retail or customer accounts
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and supporting updates to logistics workflows
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or operations (3PL experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with logistics systems and tools such as Airtable, Excel, or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Experience with freight, drayage, or warehouse operations
- Prior customer-facing logistics or operations experience
Work Environment
- Office-based or hybrid role with frequent communication across internal teams and external partners
