Investment Associate at BDev Ventures
The Investment Associate role is in the sourcing team at BDev Ventures, responsible for sourcing great startups, presenting deal opportunities to leadership, and facilitating the beginning of a possible investment. BDev Ventures was founded a couple of years ago by the same visionary team behind BairesDev, the world's fastest-growing technology solutions company and the largest 100% bootstrapped IT services company in history. BDev Ventures' mission is to support high-growth-potential B2B startups to become world-class organizations.
What you will do:
- Source great startups that fit our investment criteria.
- Develop initial relationships with startups and work together with leadership to pursue potential investment opportunities.
- Represent BDev Ventures in the startup ecosystem, building relationships and promoting our brand.
- Use outstanding communication skills to present to and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with financial data.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in venture capital or directly with startups in an adjacent industry (e.g. accelerator).
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
