We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Removal Specialist to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently removing trees while ensuring the health and safety of the surrounding environment. Duties
- Safely perform tree removal operations using rigging techniques and specialized equipment such as bucket trucks and bucket operation tools
- Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate equipment including ditch witch loaders, ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Assist with firewood production and deliveries.
- Assess trees for potential hazards or disease, recommending appropriate care or removal procedures
- Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are used safely and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols during tree removal processes to prevent accidents or property damage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tree care, tree trimming, or related landscape maintenance fields
- Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal
- Experience operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment (bucket operation)
- Growing experience or background in horticulture is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of general horticultural practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical endurance for heavy lifting and climbing
- Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
