Voted Best of Bainbridge Island and Best of Kitsap County in 2022 and 2023!Position Overview:The Primary purpose of the Medication Technician is to ensure all medications are passed according to orders in QuickMAR and assist the caregivers with providing care to the residents ensuring care is provided in a manner consistent with Bainbridge Senior Living’s mission.This position provides support to Caregiving staff and may be assigned to Caregiver shifts when needed Key Responsibilities:Resident Engagement: Provide appropriate medication administration and companionship for residents including talking, listening, walking, playing games, reading aloud, etc. and assisting residents with activities of daily lifeTeam Player: Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure top level care is provided while working together to problem solveCommunity Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the broader community to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.Quality of Care: Ensure highest quality of care and medication administration is provided to residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.Organizational Support and Professionalism: Follows all policies and procedures while supporting the organization’s goals and values and remaining professional at all times. *Full Job Description Available Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
