Volunteer Campground Host

The volunteer camp host at Fay Bainbridge Campground assists park staff in campground and park operations and assists visitors by providing park information, answering questions in person or on the phone and explaining rules.

1. Greet Campers
2. Assist Campers when checking in
3. Answer questions
4. Perform light maintenance in the park
5. Sell firewood or other supplies as requested
6. Hosts may assist with other projects based on park needs and the skills and interest of the host.

• Must be 18 years of age
• Enjoy working with the public
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Hosts must provide their own RV or camping unit
• Typically, a 30-day commitment that may be extended to 90 days
• Hosts are required to provide a minimum of 28 hours of service a week, with two days off
• Must be willing to work some weekends

This is a volunteer position and is not eligible for any employee benefits offered by the District.
