Responsibilities Include:
Expected Annual Base Salary $200,000 – $275,000
Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance. Responsibilities Include:
- Lead a team that analyzes, evaluates, and monitors investments across our strategies
- Conceive and execute in-depth industry, competitive, and financial analyses in order to formulate and test differential investment hypotheses
- Perform company and industry research: visit company management, do field research (with customers, suppliers, and others likely to have unique insight into a company’s or industry’s fundamentals), and attend appropriate industry/Wall Street conferences
- Make proactive buy/sell recommendations and communicate investment views effectively with appropriate team members
- Identify and evaluate attractive investment ideas, primarily in the public markets, but also selective private market investments
- Manage the workload, responsibilities and development of analysts/associates
- Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated track record of successful work experience
- 6 plus years of professional experience ideally in an investment management firm, investment banking, sell-side research, public or private investing, and/or management consulting role
- A fundamentals-driven, “bottom up” investing style with strong analytical/modeling capability
- Experience interacting with and assessing senior management teams; demonstrated relationship-building and networking skills
- Ability to anticipate and identify company, industry, and market developments and support insights with research and analysis
- Excellent communication skills; able to synthesize complicated analyses concisely and to articulate insightful conclusions compellingly. Open to spirited debate over ideas

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments
