For more than 30 years, Baily International Foods has been a trusted manufacturer of authentic Asian food products, serving customers and distributors nationwide. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team and help strengthen the processes, reporting, and financial infrastructure supporting the business.

We're hiring an Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager to take ownership of key day-to-day accounting activities while serving as a trusted partner to our Controller, operations leaders, and broader organization.

The level of the position can be flexible based on experience. We're open to an established Accounting Manager as well as a strong Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller who is ready to take the next step in their career.

What You'll Do

• Manage key day-to-day accounting activities across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
• Partner with operations and other departments to provide financial insight and improve business performance
• Support inventory accounting, costing, physical inventory, and cycle-counting processes
• Help strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes as the organization continues to grow
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process
• Provide guidance and mentorship to AP and AR team members
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, reporting, and accounting processes
• Support additional finance and accounting initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive experience in accounting or finance, ideally within manufacturing, food production, CPG, distribution, or a related environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience with inventory and/or cost accounting strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while also serving as a collaborative business partner across the organization
• Experience mentoring or leading accounting team members is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus
• CPA is a plus, but not required
• Payroll experience, including ADP Workforce Now, is a plus
