The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $24.04 and $28.85 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The Essential Functions Of This Position Include
- Ability to support the professional services organization by providing configuration center process improvement and articulation of all types of staging and build services including planning, resource scheduling, resource escalation and overall profitability.
- Ensure high client satisfaction levels, building a strong base of referenceable accounts
- Mentor and educate team members on repeatable services methodologies and best practices
- Work closely with sales and technical consulting leadership to lead all configuration activities
- Produce monthly project status to management
- Guarantee successful implementation of all client projects using professional project management principles
- Work closely with Engineering, Vendors and Post-Sales Support to resolve customer issues
- Lead teams of internal and external resources to deliver desired business outcomes for customers
- Monitor and mentor internal resource utilization to drive the highest utilization possible for their team
- Provide collateral to field that outlines current capabilities and capacities of our configuration center
- Responsible for backlog of active staging, build, and configuration projects
- Hone the QA process and capabilities, and set proper expectations as to what our QA processes will be able to test and validate during the QA phase of the projects
- Help educate the ePlus field and customers on our ePlus configuration center capabilities
- Provide status reports of projects to customers and ePlus internal stakeholders
- Provide presales support to ePlus sales and presales engineers as needed
- Perform IOS and firmware upgrades on switches and routers
- Apply configurations to routers and switches from config templates and making appropriate changes
- Basic knowledge of imaging desktops and laptops via Symantec Ghost server and/or MDT
- Perform racking and stacking of hardware components in a configuration center environment and in a data center environment
- Able to review, understand, and edit network topology diagrams
- Provide remote connectivity to internal and external customers through the configuration center via VPN tunnels
- Troubleshoot and perform remediation repairs; escalate to Sr. Engineers, as needed
- Degree in Business or related field or related work equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and expertise in technical and project management, and/or diversified business role
- Strong skills working with upper management and inter-department functions
- Minimal cross-region travel requirements; some intra-regional travel
