Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and other specialized techniques
- Manage janitorial tasks like trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies
- Assist with outdoor work including patio cleaning, gardening support, or other exterior maintenance as needed
- Practice safe manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while respecting their privacy and preferences
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with laundry services and janitorial responsibilities
- Background in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is highly desirable
- Familiarity with outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care
